Richard Loeb was born into a rich family in Chicago, Illinois. He was born on June 11, 1905. Richard was a very intelligent kid every since he was young. As a young boy, he especially liked to read crime stories and books about history. Also, Richard graduated high school at the age of fourteen; he was so intelligent that he was able to skip a few grades. During his younger years he went to the University of Chicago and met Leopold there. They became great friends there and they ended up going to the University of Michigan together, due to the fact that they had an intimate relationship.  At the University, Loeb, at the age of seventeen, ended up being the youngest graduate at  the college. He later on planned to attend the University of Chicago Law School. 



Richard Loeb ended up dying on January 28, 1936 by an inmate, James day. He was attacked with a straight razor and bled to death due to the wounds.

Biography

Nathan Leopold was also born into a rich family in Chicago, Illinois. He was born on November 19, 1904. His mother died when he was young, therefore he was watched over by his father. He was also very intelligent. At the age of eighteen, Leopold became an advanced botanist, professional bird recognition and spoke 9-10 languages fluently. He was able to speak his first words at the young age of four months. He ended up meeting Richard Loeb at the University of Chicago. 



Nathan Leopold ended up dying on August 29, 1971 to a diabetes related heart-attack.
